LAS VEGAS and WALTHAM, Mass., - February 12, 2004 - Polaroid Corporation will debut its fresh and innovative line of new instant cameras at the 2004 Photo Marketing Association (PMA) International Annual Convention and Trade Show, February 12-15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. From classic to advanced, the new Polaroid camera line continues the company’s technology heritage of delivering images in the moment by offering a wide range of stylish and compact cameras. The all-new line features four Polaroid One600 instant cameras, including the One600 Classic, One600 Ultra, One600 Pro and One600 JobPro, along with the fashionable and compact re-designed iZone 200 instant camera for teens and the Image1200 for high-end users.

“Given the popularity of the Polaroid One introduced a year ago, we wanted to build on that success and expand the instant camera line. The sleek, contemporary design of the new Polaroid One600 line makes it the ideal portable companion for a wide range of users. Each camera comes equipped with a variety of features, including a built-in, automatic flash with ready light, digital film counter to track available photos and a convenient wrist strap for easy portability, as well as a limited warranty. Most models also incorporate a self-timer and tri-pod socket for capturing group photos instantly.

The new family of Polaroid One600 instant cameras ? One600 Classic, One600 Ultra, One600 Pro and One600 JobPro ? all use large-format 600 instant film and will be available in June 2004 at most major retailers, traditional photographic stores, and computer and electronic stores nationwide.

Polaroid One600 Classic ? Designed for consumers who desire simplicity, the One600 Classic takes fixed-focus pictures as close as 36 inches; its auto flash range is 3 to 0 feet. The suggested retail price of the One600 Classic is $53.00.

Polaroid One600 Ultra ? Enhanced with new auto-sharp technology, the One600 Ultra provides vivid instant pictures as close as 24 inches, allowing consumers to fill the frame with their loved one’s image. The Ultra also features red-eye reduction and a self-timer. The suggested retail price of the One600 Ultra is $65.00.

Polaroid One600 Pro ? Ideal for specialized business applications and small business users, the One600 Pro provides sharp, close-range photos with true colors, focusing as close as 18 inches. The Pro model also includes a viewfinder dust shield for harsh environments. The suggested retail price of the One600 Pro is $74.00.

Polaroid One600 JobPro ? Protected with an extra durable rubber coating, the One600 JobPro is ideal for users within the construction and home improvement industry. It features all the capability of the One600Pro, plus a tripod mount and exposure control (light/dark) for varied lighting situations, making it the perfect tool to use on-site no matter what the size of the project. The suggested retail price of the One600 JobPro is $59.00.
Polaroid Image1200
For the sophisticated photographer, Polaroid has created the new Polaroid Image1200, which incorporates a number of advanced features for professional level instant imaging. The new Image1200 is the first Polaroid instant camera to include a pivoting color LCD viewfinder, similar to a camcorder’s viewfinder, which allows users to preview the image prior to taking the picture. The camera also features true auto-focus covering 10 zones (2 feet to infinity) for crisp images with superb depth of field. Compatible with Polaroid 1200 film [formerly known as Spectra film], the new Image1200 will be available June 2004 for a suggested U.S. retail price of $169.00.

iZone 200
In addition to the versatile new line of Polaroid One600 and Image1200 instant cameras, Polaroid is previewing a new, smaller instant camera fashioned after the extremely popular iZone ? the iZone 200. With its ultra-compact size (measuring just 4.58 inches long by 2.55 inches high and 1.42 inches wide − 30 percent smaller than the original iZone), automatic flash with ready light and fresh graphic design, the iZone 200 will continue to be a favorite among kids and teens, who already enjoy the fun and spontaneity of these “snap and share” instant mini-sized photos. Available in September 2004, the iZone 200 uses the new Polaroid 200 film and has a suggested U.S. retail price of $25.00.
