Travel photography with a digital camera
Planning your 2009 travel and want to bring back some great pictures, but need to know how to get the most out of your digital camera? Then this workshop is for you! Digital cameras are great tools for travellers and a fabulously versatile way of capturing and sharing images from your travels. As the cameras have become more advanced the menus have become complicated and confusing, distracting the photographer from the pictures you want to take. Professional photographers and TPOTY judges, Chris Coe and Nick Meers, show you the key things about your camera set-up and how to get the best out of it when you’re travelling. The course will include a shoot, and there will be a prize for the best image shot taken by a participant during the course.

Creative digital photography
Shooting in low light can produce some of the most interesting and atmospheric images, especially when you’re travelling, but it is daunting and requires a knowledge of the limitations and strengths of your camera. Chris Coe and Nick Meers will show you how your digital camera can capture creative images in low-light using colour balance, flash, long exposures and movement. The course will include a shoot, and there will be a prize for the best image image taken by a participant during the course.
