Rollei Movieline SD40 & SD55

The Rollei Movieline SD40 and the Rollei Movieline SD55 are two new Full HD camcorders that also take five-megapixel stills. The Movieline SD40 (€119.90, pictured) has a fixed 5.23mm f/3.2 lens and offers 4x digital zoom, while the Movieline SD55 (€149.90)boasts a 5-25mm f/3.5-3.7 Rolei Apogon zoom lens. Both camcorders feature dual microSD and SD(HC) card slots and 3-inch touch-sensitive screens. Both Movieline models will be available in shops from the end of July 2011.

Cinematic adventure and compact design: Rollei Movieline SD 40 and SD 55

Thanks to brilliant, full HD picture quality,  extensive features, and interesting functions, movie making is guaranteed to be your new hobby! Rollei launches two new camcorders onto the market. In each case a 3-inch colour TFT LCD display (7.62 cm) in 4:3 format, 5 million pixels and 30 frames per second ensure a sharp visual impression. Practical: two slots for memory cards (SD and Micro SD) so that you can continue filming when one card is full.

Movieline SD 40

Smaller, lighter, more compact: this full high definition camcorder stands out thanks to its compact design and its lightness, which means it can be easily operated with one hand. (Weight: 186 grams, dimensions:110x68x37 mm).

A rotatable 3-inch touchscreen panel in 4:3 format makes it especially convenient to use. Two card slots for SD and micro SD cards with a capacity of up to 32 gigabytes offer the opportunity to continue recording onto the other card when one card is full. The video film stabiliser ensures that any unwanted movements are compensated for while shooting. The rechargeable lithium ion battery makes it possible to shoot videos up to 60 minutes in length.

Movieline SD 55

The Rollei Movieline SD 55 boasts a compact format (dimensions: 32x68x110 mm) as well as a trendy design. With 5x optical zoom and a Rollei-Apogon high-precision lens there are no limits to movie-making pleasure. The touch screen controls make it easy to use. The “Completely Carefree function” and automatic face recognition mean that the optimum automatic programme option is selected when the situation requires it.

Included in the package:

Both camcorders, the Movieline SD 40 and S 55, have an HDMI port. Movies can easily be viewed on an HD TV using the HDMI cable supplied. An AV cable, a USB cable and a rechargeable lithium ion battery NP 60 are also included in the package.

Availability and price:

Both Movieline models will be available in shops from the end of July 2011. The Movieline SD 40 will be available in black for a recommended retail price of EUR 119.90 and the Movieline SD 55 will be available in black or red for an RRP of EUR 149.90.
