Tamrac has announced its new Evolution Series – featuring two fast access backpacks and a messenger bag (pictured) that converts from a camera bag to a briefcase. The roomy inside of the Tamrac Evolution 4 messenger bag accommodates a DSLR with a lens attached, a flash and 2 to 3 additional lenses, all protected inside a foam-padded compartment called the “shuttle”, which features adjustable, foam-padded dividers. To convert the camera bag into a briefcase, simply remove the shuttle from the bag using the handles. The Tamrac Evolution 6 and 8 backpacks sport a unique harness system which allows them to be carried as a backpack, a sling pack over the right shoulder or a sling pack over the left shoulder.

Evolution Backpacks 6 & 8
The Evolution backpacks provide an unprecedented level of versatility. With their unique harness system both the Evolution 6 and 8 can be carried as a backpack, a sling pack over the right shoulder or a sling pack over the left shoulder. There are also three ways to access equipment using the main compartment and two side doors.

The Evolution 4 is a versatile, slim-profile messenger bag that converts from a camera bag to a briefcase. The roomy inside accommodates a DSLR with a lens attached, a flash and 2 to 3 additional lenses, all protected inside a foam-padded compartment called the “shuttle”, which features adjustable, foam-padded dividers. To convert the camera bag into a briefcase, simply remove the shuttle from the bag using the handles. The main compartment can then be filled with files, paperwork, or other necessary items. To convert it back into a camera bag, just slip the shuttle full of your camera gear back into the bag. Behind the shuttle is a foam-padded compartment that holds most 15.6” screen laptops.
Carrying Options Soft, foam-padding in the back provides cushioning while the shoulder strap allows the bag to be easily swung from back to front. A carrying handle lets you grab the bag quickly and Tamrac’s Piggy-Back Pocket™ allows the bag to be easily slipped over the handle of rolling luggage.
