With an emphasis on lightweight, durable construction and slim silhouettes, VEO 2 is tailor-made for travel photographers. Weighing even less than its predecessor and featuring all new materials - including a new carbon fibre technology - VEO 2 is available in 12 different configurations which include either aluminium or carbon fibre legs, a choice of 4 or 5 leg sections, 3 different colourways, and a choice between a ball head or a pan head. Vanguard’s smallest silhouette yet!

And there’s no compromise on compactness and portability either. VEO 2 easily fits into a standard backpack or carry-on. In fact, the tripods fold up to the smallest silhouette Vanguard has to offer, with the smallest of the VEO 2 models measuring 40.5cm folded length, and the longest at 44.5cm. In terms of height, VEO 2 extends to as tall as 155cm

Versatility in the field…

When it comes to travel photography, versatility and comfort-of-use is paramount and VEO 2 delivers this across the board. The 3 leg angles at 20°, 45° and 80°, the free low-angle centre column adapter and angled rubber feet ensure perfect positioning and stability, even on uneven terrain. Compatible spiked feet are also sold separately. The heads also feature Arca compatible quick release plates and include pan/ball head, friction control and a separate pan lock, depending on the model. The tripod’s soft rubber handle provides an unbeatable grip and there is a dedicated suspension loop on the canopy to accommodate counterbalance weight for additional stability
