Cities at Dawn have issued the call for submissions for its week-long pop-up photography festival called WeLovePhoto! Held at Foyles Bookshop in mid-June this year, WeLovePhoto! aims to inspire and help the amateur photographers of London bring their photography to the next level through a series of workshops, talks, walks and an exhibition space where photographers can come to learn, share and collaborate. The festival will launch with a group exhibition of photographs themed around the area of Charing Cross Road. The organisers are looking for amateur and professional photographers to submit their best photos that are inspired by this iconic street, and the best work will join the exhibition. We at Cities at Dawn are very excited to announce that we will be running a week long pop-up photography festival called WeLovePhoto! at Foyles Bookshop in mid-June this year. WeLovePhoto! aims to inspire and help the amateur photographers of London to bring their photography to the next level. WeLovePhoto is being launched by photographer Anthony Epes and the team at Cities at Dawn. Anthony is a commercial and fine art photographer who also runs workshops based on his books London at Dawn and Paris at Dawn. Starting an hour before sunrise Anthony gives amateur photographers and intrepid Londoners pro-photo training on the move through the early morning streets of London and Paris. Starting with ‘blue hour photography’ you’ll get the low down on professional techniques and how to confidently and creatively shoot on manual.
