Sharpness at 240mm

For this test, the Sony FE 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS lens was attached to a Sony A7S body, which in turn was mounted on a sturdy tripod. Exposure delay mode was activated. Tonal and colour variances across the crops are due to changes in natural light during the session.

Centre sharpness remains high through from f/6.3 to f/22, with f/32 to f/40 being adversely affected by diffraction. The edges aren't as sharp as the centre, with f/11-22 producing the sharpest results.
