Probably the best small camera around at that price.

It is a great camera however I purchased the Canon SD 780 IS which is slimmer than the SD 960 and it fits in my shirt pocket easily.

the 780’s lens isn’t as nice and doesn’t go as wide either. 28 vs 33 is a big deal when used in indoor social settings which is quite common with little pocket cameras. But it’s all a tradeoff. If the 960 is large enough that you wouldn’t toss it in your pocket then you wouldn’t have it to take pics as often. 960 is still pretty small though.

I got this camera a week ago after comparing US and Australian reviews on 2009 model range, but this one is different with a negative shadow. I had funny feeling that this was written by Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear!) I came from Sony DSC-W5 and Canon has better images and fantastic HD video mode, provided digital zoom is not used.
