I cannot find any Canon A3200 here in America.  This one does look like Canon A3300.  Could there be a typo throughout this article?  I remember you had a review on Canon A3300 a few days ago?  What is the difference between the two then?

There are differences but they are slight. The ones I could see on the Canon website are:
LCD screen: 3 inch (A3300), 2.7 inch (A3200)
Burst: 0.8fps (A3300), 0.9fps (A3200)
Resolution: 16 megapixels (A3300), 14 megapixels (A3200)
Battery life: 230 shots (A3300), 250 shots (A3200)

The last point is unusual because it’s the same battery, I expect it’s due to the larger resolution requiring more power to process.

See if it works for you. The differences are mild and there’s roughly a £20 - £30 price difference.

Don’t ever think of buying a Sony “W” series camera. The W series line up suffers from serious noise/grain. My recommendation is to get yourself the Canon Ixus 115 HS. It has excellent noise reduction performance and takes extremely sharp pictures. You won’t regret it!

I bought my wife a Canon 3200 IS for Christmas. So disappointing as pictures are not sharp. Took the same photo with my Ixus 70 which proved the point. We returned the 3200 to the supplier and brought another home. Photos still not sharp enough for this kind of camera. Is there something I have to adjust to get a sharp photo. My Canon A590 is also much sharper. Never had a Canon camera before which is so fuzzy.
