I think an interesting side to side comparison would be to talk similar pictures, side by side with the cheapest of stand alone cameras and the best of the camera phones

Every picture was blurry despite having the blurr reduction setting on. I have the L24 and it takes much better pictures. Since both my hands have an essential tremer I need a camera that works past it. This isn’t the one. Plus, it’s nice to be able to reformatt the picture in the camera, the L27 can’t do that either. Big disappointement, it was a gift.

Bought this camera on Black Friday 2013, didnt last but maybe 3 months. One day, took a picture, it powered off. Replaced batteries, tried new SD card, nothing. Nikon wanted me to pay for them to fix it despite it being under the 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Needless to say, I am heading caution when I buy (if I buy) Nikon in the future.

Disappointing, esp for landscapes
Right half of pics tend to be blurred
Nearly always takes pics at f3.2 which isn’t much use for many subjects
have got some good macro and portraits

Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement battery and USB charger cable for this camera?

Any help much appreciated.
