Hi, I have the same issue as Kalagouda Patil with the batteries.

First, I thought it was the battery which was poorly made and had failed, so I bought a second one. Soon thereafter, the second battery died too.

I sent the camera to customer service, stating that it was destroying batteries.

The camera just came back, customer service stating that they had just installed the latest firmware…. which is 1.0, it has not changed. They did a factory reset, too. The camera is working.

Now, it looks like this camera need to have a battery slightly charged to be able to start charging it… how ironic.

I think I’ll look for an external battery charger.

Don’t pick this one up. For some reason, it can’t playback video without freezing on the ten second mark, and if the object in motion is less than 5 metres from the camera, when exported to a computer it just lags and skips every few frames. Very dissappointing.

Hi, this camera is just so disappointing, i bought s4150 today, in the span of less than 3 hours im already thinking of returnting it and replace it with other model. The flash is disabled allthe time even if its in auto mode. Touch screen button is not a user frienly thing. So for those who want to buy this model please think first before buying.

My children bought me this camera for Mother’s Day and i decided to use it whilst on Honeymoon in February this year. I have taken 4 pictures and the battery died so i recharged it when i arrived at the hotel that evening and took 2 pictures the following day and the battery died again. Does anyone have any ideas or is this the standard we have to expect.

Disappointed customer
