#1 Olympus VR 130 / VR 310

Both cameras are great for photography, and very similar. Forget the HD video tho, as the quality is better in 640x480 than in HD 720p! This is true. And if you film a driving scene better use the 640x480 instead of HD 720p. You wouldn’t believe the grain, the noise, how blurred is the image in HD, even outdoors plenty of light! The 310 it’s amazing with 10x optical zoom and it tends to make images a bit warmer than other brands such Canon or Nikon. Again about the video is that this cameras produce better imaging when fully zoomed!! It’s weird but true. Another horrible thing about this cameras is the sound. It just horribly clips all the time inside of a car. Just great for pics, specially for macro but forget the videos. Never seen a better camera in macro. 1cm with absolute detail. Get a mini tripod with this cameras, just in case you want a great crisp image (Canon-like) when shooting night or people indoors - using the self-timer…

yeah i agree with him this camera is good for macro shooting mode and if you are plan to this camera with flash or night party you will be pain :D good for outdoor use with more light

I bought this camera to shoot some products, it is quiet good, very impressive for such a low price. Sadly there is no usefull internal memory (only 49mb), but sd cards are so cheap these days…in overall: Thumbs up!
