What the heck, Panny?! You know I’m a Panny fanboy, and you go and make this stupid little camera that has no lens cover? I was a Minolta fanboy, and I love my DiMage X50, which I still use. The DiMage X50 has a lens cover which operates the power, and the thing even has an optical viewfinder on its small form factor! What the heck, Panny? What happened? I would have to say, you did not do your homework with this one.

I love it.I would say the FP8 includes what Panasonic calls a folding optics lens from Leica. The high quality Leica 4.6X optical zoom lens contains a large collection of advanced optics, which provides the quality Leica requires in an ultra-compact camera body (0.8 inches in thickness)....

#3 Panasonic lumix DMC-FP8 review
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP8 is a rocking camera. It comes up with 12.1 mp camera. The battery life is quite long. I like the face detection technology. It is available in three beautiful colors like silver, red and black. It is very easy and comfortable to use. Performance-wise, its amazing. The only negative thing is the poor looks. But if features matter a lot to you, then this is the best option. For more details refer http://www.etechreviews.net/panasonic-lumix-dmc-fp8-unattractive-looks-but-a-genius-inside/
