I sure wish Panasonic could find a way to move that tripod mount to a better balance point.  I have a TZ5 and trying to use a Gorillapod placed on a surface is a challenge to keep standing up.

Panasonic does not provide user guides for all their cameras online, so my question is if this camera has these settings: Slow sync flash, AE, AF and FE lock. Even Ixus 105 has 3 of these 4 features, but I can’t seem to find any budget Panasonic having this basic feature set.

Here in the Colonies, your FS30 is known as FH20, but identical otherwise.

Getting decent images but find what looks great in the LCD becomes very under-exposed looking in Picasa thumbnails. All need some lighter/brighter tweaking and a few…mostly that that were flash illuminated…can be in dire need. Have diddled with exposure control options but only made things worse. Any suggestions?

Just bought one of these to replace my trusty Samsung S1065. I mainly want an in-camera Supermacro mode, and so far not too bad. Other pics appear to be OK in quality, and comparable to my Lumix FZ38….which is supposed to be superior?? My only gripe with the camera is the very flimsy battery compartment…how long will that last!

Great little camera, but the flash is underpowered.

I love my Panasonic Lumix 14 MP DMC-FH20 Camera. The only thing that is missing. witch I could really use is a Remote Shutter Button. This would be a grate addition for the next Model.
