Imo, this is the worst camera ever made. No physical controls make it almost unusable in modes other than Auto and P. Terrible experience, ugly look, average iq for aps-c, big size, small buffer.

I have to agree. The kit lens on this thing is a deplorable piece of crap. Cheap feeling, cheaply made. IQ was seriously disappointing and the controls were pathetic.

First of all, this Photography Blog review by Mark Goldstein is one of the very best reviews that I’ve read, regarding this camera.

As for the prior two customer reviews, both are grossly inaccurate and misleading. The comment that this camera is almost unusable except in Auto and Programmable Modes, is entirely inaccurate (I use both Auto mode and Shutter Priority mode most of the time, all chosen from the “Expert” mode window).

And the comment about the kit lens has some small amount of truth in it (I didn’t like the lens at first, but changed my mind once I learned how to actually use the camera), but I’ve gotten some unbelievably beautiful photos from the Galaxy NX, with sharpness suggesting that this “kit lens” is far better than some reviewers have said.

All in all, Goldstein’s review, including his ratings of the individual qualities of this camera system, are right-on!  The main issue with this product is (as many reviewers have said) the original price of $1,699.  It is now selling with the kit lens for around $1,200 and I feel this is still too expensive.
