Why has this review been posted now AFTER that for the TX-9 in the last couple of weeks, which has in effect superceeded this camera.
I think the TX-9 has improved on it in almost all ways.

This is a sleek camera, small in size and having stylish design. Overall color accuracy is good but the thing is that the color can’t be controlled by the camera itself.

I have compared and purchased a few of the Sony Cybershot TX series cameras (for myself and family /friends as gifts). The Sony Cybershot TX7 is by far, a better overall ultra compact camera. The sound quality is superb compared to the newer, smaller TX55. The TX7 takes both Sony Pro Duo sticks, as well as SD Cards, has a larger touchscreen, faster shutter, great panorama shooting, movie mode and adjustable brightness for low light scenes and videos. The TX55 takes only a micro SD card (which is inserted upside down) and the sound quality is terrible. Invest in the TX7 and you will be glad you did. Great camera.
