the tokina 12-28mm is the worse lens i have (if we don’t consider the kit lens that came with the camera). Distant objects are never sharp enough, this lens is sharp for objects say up to 20 meters. Performance (not only in sharpness) degrades considerably after f11 and is barely acceptable at f4. I don’t think this lens can score 4 points in image quality, it’s an average performer, maybe 3 points.

Just marvellous lens. On my Nikon d7200 this gives me just what I need to record fantastic landscape photos. You need a steady hand to use this lens, you will be rewarded with razor sharp images at all focus lengths when you master this lens.
