The Sun-Sniper Strap-Surfer suspends your camera from the strap of a regular shoulder bag. The camera can then be carried right on the bag - the photographer no longer has to decide whether to take the bag or the camera strap. Toshiba today announced that it will launch a new line of high-performance SDXC and SDHC memory cards under a new brand name, Exceria. Bringing together “excellence” and “experience”, the Exceria brand offers cards compliant with the SD Memory Card Standard Ver.3.0 UHS-I, and includes versions offering the world-fastest class data transfer speed. Products will be launched in three series, Exceria Type 1, Type 2 and Type HD, each offering three versions with different capacities. The Type 1 series products integrate new controllers that realise a maximum read speed of 95MB/s and a write speed of 90MB/s. Type 2 series products offer a maximum read speed of 95MB/s and a write speed of 60MB/s, while Type HD products have a maximum read speed of 90 MB/s and a write speed of 30 MB/s.

Kenro has announced the UK launch of the Nissin MG8000 Extreme flash. Nissin has developed a new ceramic insulation for the inside of the gun as well as a unique quartz-based flash tube which ensures the unit remains cool, even in extreme use conditions. Apple today introduced the new iPad, featuring a 9.7-inch Retina display with 2048x1536 pixels, new dual-core A5X chip with quad-core graphics, and a 5-megapixel camera. The new display boasts a resolution of 264 pixels per inch (ppi), up from 132ppi in the iPad 2. The integrated “iSight” camera module features a five-element f/2.4 lens and a BSI sensor as well as digital image stabilisation for capturing shake-free Full HD (1080p/30fps) movies. The new iPad Wi-Fi models will be available in black or white on Friday, 16th March for a suggested retail price of £399 including VAT for the 16GB model, £479 for the 32GB variant and £559 for the 64GB version. iPad Wi-Fi + 4G will be available for a suggested retail price of £499 (16GB), £579 (32GB) and £659 for the 64GB model.
