DNP today introduced their new WPS Pro Wireless Print Server. Designed exclusively for the company's DS40, DS80, DS620A, DS-RX1HS and DS820A dye-sublimation printers, the WPS Pro allows photographers to print directly from Wi-Fi compatible capture devices without the need for cables, memory cards an internet connection. This enables event photographers to roam, capture and wirelessly print candid shots taken at the company picnic, local pet store or sporting event; and perfect for the wedding photographer to capture and print the memories of the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The WPS Pro features an easy-to-read 7” touchscreen display that allows users to easily monitor print jobs, printer status, and see remaining print counts. A single WPS Pro can connect with two DNP photo printer models for speed/redundancy or for an increased range of print size options. “Wireless tools are an important part of our customer’s increasingly flexible workflow,” said Katsuyuki Oshima, President of DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation. “The WPS Pro expands the functionality of our printers, optimises photographer workflows, and provides new opportunities for our customers to upgrade their offerings.”

European accessory manufacturer 84.5mm Camera Filters has launched a new line of reverse graduated neutral density filters. These 100x150mm filters are hand-made from CR-39 Organic glass and can be used with standard “XL” filter holders. Available in two sizes, Reverse ND4 and Reverse ND8, are available for €59.95 each.

Sony have just announced the World’s fastest SD card. Offering read/write speeds of up to 300MB/s and 299MB/s, respectively, the new SF-G series memory cards are available in 32GB, 64GB or 128GB storage capacities. The blazing-fast write speed allows for a shorter buffer clearing time, while the ultra-fast read speeds enable users to transfer large volumes and files to a computer very quickly, contributing to a more efficient workflow. In conjunction with the SF-G series, Sony are introducing a new memory card reader, model MRW-S1, which offers a built-in SuperSpeed USB (USB3.1 Gen.1) standard A port for cable-free PC connection, so that your files can be copied faster than copying through the integrated SD slot. The new SF-G series SD cards will be available in stores in March 2017 and the MRW-S1 card reader will be available in April 2017.

SIRUI will be introducing their new R-3213X tripod at The Photography Show taking place at the NEC in Birmingham (18-21 March 2017). The Nissin A10s is a new 2.4Ghz wireless TTL flash commander for Fujifilm, Sony, Micro Four Thirds, Canon and Nikon cameras. Manfrotto has announced the acquisition of Xume Adapters, a US-based company offering a range of quick-release adapters that allow photographers to attach lens caps and filters to their lenses quickly and with great precision. Utilising a magnetic solution that securely locks filters onto lenses, Manfrotto Xume accessories are safe for the lenses' focus mechanism, media cards, drives or other electronics. The strong magnetic attachment will keep the filter firmly in place – and ready to instantly swap out when a different filter is needed. Manfrotto Xumes adapters are available in 8 Sizes: 49mm, 52mm, 58mm, 62mm; 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm.
