The Synology DiskStation DS218 is a feature-rich 2-bay NAS that provides media streaming, file sharing, and data backup features in a desktop form factor. The DS218 is also optimised for 10-bit 4K H.265 video transcoding, and retails for £246.55 (inc. VAT) in the UK.

Adobe have updated the entire Lightroom CC ecosystem, including for Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and the web, as well as updates to Lightroom Classic CC and Adobe Camera Raw. The new Auto Setting creates a better photo by using Adobe Sensei artificial intelligence to analyse your photo and compare it to tens of thousands of professionally edited photos. The Tone Curve has been added to Lightroom CC on desktop, along with split toning.

Leica recorded revenue growth of more than 6% from April 1st 2016 to March 31st 2017, bucking the overall downward trend in the global camera market, which declined by around 10 per cent in the same period. Leica's overall revenue figure of almost 400 million euros was achieved by a systematic realignment of the company that has taken place in recent years, including the setting up of an in-house retail distribution division, and a focus on the Chinese market, with plans to open 20 to 30 more stores.
