The University of the Arts London has announced 28 Stories, a group show by graduates of the MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication. The exhibition includes a poetic exploration of a maverick spaceship designer, a reflection on elderly love, a study of the first female Indian soldiers deployed to the Indian-Pakistan border in Kashmir, a daughter’s interpretation of her father’s escape from Hungary and the former eastern bloc, remarkable and dignified bodies of work about loved ones living with illness, and numerous other exceptional essays, pieces and stories, the organisers say. 28 Stories runs from 10-23 December and 4-15 January, Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm.

The University of the Arts London is thrilled to announce 28 stories, a group show by graduates of the MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication. The private view is at the college’s exciting new gallery space in Elephant and Castle Wednesday 9 December from 6pm, with photographers Ed Kashi and Simon Norfolk, academic David Campbell, and the Telegraph photography critic Lucy Davies, in conversation from 6pm.
28 stories runs from 10-23 December and 4-15 January, Mon to Sat 10am-5pm.
28 stories brings together the very best of the MA’s work from five continents over the past year. The exhibition includes a poetic exploration of a maverick spaceship designer, a reflection on elderly love, a study of the first female Indian soldiers deployed to the Indian-Pakistan border in Kashmir, a daughter’s interpretation of her father’s escape from Hungary and the former eastern bloc, remarkable and dignified bodies of work about loved ones living with illness, and numerous other exceptional essays, pieces and stories.
28 stories showcases work that uses different mediums from stills to video and multimedia and is the result of close collaboration between students and the photographers Adam Broomberg, Oliver Chanarin and Peter Fraser.

The MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication has been running in various forms for over two decades. Since then, it has established an international reputation. Students have gone on to win major international awards including World Press Photo Awards seven times, the Jerwood Photography Prize five times, the Sunday Times Ian Parry Award twice and the Visa D’Or at the Perpignan Festival of Photojournalism twice. Graduates’ work is represented by leading agencies including Magnum, VII and Getty Images.
