The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) of the U.S.A. is now accepting entries to their 40th annual contest. Contestants have until 6 July 2010 to submit their photos. There are 7 categories, and each entrant may submit up to 25 images. Winners will be published on the NWF website and a selection will appear in their December 2010 issue. There are two $5,000 grand prizes to be won, and the total amount of cash prizes offered exceeds $30,000.

Call for Entries: National Wildlife Announces 40th Annual Photo Contest 2010

Reston, VA (Vocus/PRWEB ) January 30, 2010—The National Wildlife Federation is now accepting entries to our 40th annual contest. Cash prizes totaling more than $30,000 and other gifts will be awarded to the winners in seven categories in three separate divisions: Professional, Amateur, and Youth. Winners will be published on our website and a selection will appear in our December 2010 issue. To enter our contest, you need the following:

  * You must be at least 13 years old
  * Possess a valid credit card
  * Have your own photos in digital format (information on sizing and how to upload will be given)
  * Can provide descriptions and stories behind your photos
  * Have an email and mailing address
