'4 Seasons: Spring into Life' Winner Announced

International Garden Photographer of the Year has announced the winner of its ‘Spring into Life’ contest, which was organised as part of its ‘4- Seasons’ photography competition series. The overall winner is Colin Varndell, who will receive a £500 cash prize and a copy of ‘International Garden Photographer of the Year Collection 03’ published by David and Charles. The other finalsists are awarded a copy of the book, plus points that will be taken through to the judging of the main competition, deadline 30th November 2010.

WINNERS OF ‘4 SEASONS: Spring into Life’ COMPETITION ANNOUNCED

‘Spring into Life’ inspired photographers from all round the world to submit stunning images for International Garden Photographer of the Year.

The overall winner is Colin Varndell.

Winner Colin Varndell: "I was delighted with the news I had won the 'Spring Into Life' category of the competition. I am passionate about photographing gardens and trees, and feel that IGPOTY has been a brilliant platform for showing off the best photography in this field. I have enjoyed the challenge of entering, but more importantly the inspiration from the wonderful images of other entrants".

The overall winner receives a £500 cash prize and all the finalists will receive a copy of ‘International Garden Photographer of the Year Collection 03’ published by David and Charles.
