AGX appointed distributor of Microtek and Umax’s award-winning scanners.

Hook, Hampshire - AGX Holdings, a true solution designer, builder and provider of computer equipment and peripherals to the graphic imaging, pre-press and digital print Marketplace announces that they have been appointed as official distributor for Microtek and Umax scanners, by Umax Systems GmbH of Germany.

“AGX has been involved with Microtek scanners as a true Value Added Reseller over the last 2 years,” commented Steve Slater, Sales and Marketing Manager for AGX. “We have extensive experience in the Sales, Support and Service of scanners at all levels - and have been the UK?s service centre for all High-End Agfa, Creo and Sony scanners. This appointment reflects the hard work that we have put in to maintain that level of experience and the commitment to our customers. We are confident that we can increase our levels of business as the result of this appointment.”

Already the only officially appointed, UK LaserSoft SilverFast Distributor, this appointment is a logical step in the development of the AGX product line-up to enable the achievement of the company?s growth objectives. AGX only supplies products that can be supported in-house by their team of manufacturer-trained technical engineers. Full backup and support from these engineers enhances the standard warranties to a very high level and includes telephone support and a loan unit programme. Full installation, calibration and training for all products can be provided at additional cost.

AGX also supplies a variety of different photo-finishing sytems from Sony and Mitsubishi, together with its own Microlab and Digital Photo System to the Minilab industry and other high-profile customers. Creo, EnCad, LaCie and a whole host of other products are also available from AGX.
