September, 2007 - AKVIS LLC announces the update of AKVIS Frame Suite v.2.5 for Windows and Macintosh. The program applies frames and edge effects to pictures. A photo frame gives an image the final touch, makes it look complete and of artistic value. Version 2.5 offers one more effect Texture that allows imitating an image drawn on different surfaces, for example, canvas, brick wall, corrugated paper, etc.  Besides, the Texture Library has been enriched with new patterns.

AKVIS Frame Suite is an impressing collection of edge effects. Thanks to its 12 effects and a rich Frame (Texture) Library, the software can generate an endless number of photo frame versions (from classic to most fancy ones). Photo frames that come with Frame Suite can be easily tailored to your particular photo. Select a color for the frame; choose its form, its style, brightness, and the intensity of the applied edge effect. You can create a frame with ragged edges, scratched surface, a page curl, etc. It can be a wooden frame with figured carving or a frame with an ornament.

If you enjoy working with layers, you will appreciate the possibility to apply a transparent frame, so that the lower layer(s) could serve as background.

Version 2.5 offers one more effect Texture.
