DeluxGear Celebrates PinPointTM with “Almost Picture Perfect” Photo Contest.

September 1, 2011, Lexington, KY (For Immediate Release) — To celebrate PinPoint’s new technology and immediate availability, DeluxGear wants photographers to enter their pictures in a contest, but not their perfect shots. DeluxGear wants the almost perfect shots, the blurry ones that were supposed to be perfect.

Locking in focus, especially when using auto focus in low light and low contrast situations, is one of the biggest issues for all photographers. Many a photo has been missed because the focus was wrong. PinPoint was designed to tackle those missed shots.

From August 29th - September 25th, submit your missed shot that best represents the “perfect picture that got away” to DeluxGear’s Contest page on Facebook  (facebook.com/DeluxGearFans).  Once a photo is submitted, entrants will be eligible to win DeluxGear’s PinPoint, Lens GuardTM, and Lens CradleTM.  The winner will be decided by the votes of DeluxGear Facebook fans.

PinPoint, DeluxGear’s focus assist product, helps eliminate focus issues by assisting the camera’s AF (or manual) focus in low light conditions. It takes the guesswork out of focusing, and is easy to use. Simply press the activator button and PinPoint emits a narrow green light beam. The camera’s auto focus then quickly zeroes in on the light to acquire focus. Release the button and take your shot.
