The announcement of the AOP's Student Awards follows hot on the heels of the recent AOP Photography Awards. Many photographers put their current success down to winning an AOP Award, in terms of both publicity and recognition amongst their peers. The Student Awards offers an excellent springboard for an aspiring photographer.
The Awards are open to all students who are studying a course that includes photography (this may not necessarily be a full-time photography course). All images are submitted via the AOP's website - www.the-aop.org - and the Awards close on 30 April 2015.
There is an entry fee of £5.00 per image for AOP Student Members, whilst non-members pay £7.50 for each image submitted. Membership is free for those at AOP Affiliated Colleges or £25 for those who are not. For further information on becoming an AOP Student Member please go to http://www.the-aop.org/join-us/student
