monoball Z1g+
The new monoball Z1g+ with a PLUS+ of outstanding virtues. ARCA-SWISS has improved all aspects of the well-known Monoball Z1g – packing even more features into the lighter and tighter Monoball Z1g+. The new ARCA SWISS tripod head Z1g+ excells with well balanced holding and moving properties. Safe holding support and subtle positioning are the crucial functions of a tripod head, according to ARCA SWISS.
Its newly engeneered Motion Related Gravity Control (MRGC) a variable and bi-directional drag, is independently operative on both axes and stabilized in all directions – and with horizontal movement, the resulting friction remains constant, whereas with vertical movements the friction increases progressively.
Intelligent engeneering and precise manufacturing guarantee for a well distributed radial chucking.
With this in mind, the new monobll Z1g+ is, of course, not another primitive loosen/tighten clamp but a higly sophisticated device designed to simultanously give a strong hold while allowing smooth and accurate positioning of the camera.
The new monoball Z1g+ comes with an additional panorama above the ball which allows a perfectly horizontal panning, regardsless of how the tripod has been placed.
The Z1g+ is 30% smaller and lighter than its Z1g predecessor and weighs in at 2.1 lbs. (960 grams).
