The Zhongshan Benro Precision Machinery Co Ltd have recently announced the availability of their new Benro B Series Ball Head.

This new, 2nd generation ball head has been effectively redesigned to incorporate real damper adjustment and greater locking force whilst improving the smoothness of operation.

The B-Series ball heads also incorporate a new design of adjustment knobs that feature graduated torque with a visible reference for simple re-setting. There is also a new, improved universal quick release clamp that is now capable of taking all Arca-Swiss style plates as well as the older Benro style quick release plates.

Available in 5 model sizes to suit all applications and featuring ball sizes from the 24mm of the B-00 through to the 54mm of the B-3 which has a load capacity of 30kg, there is not a camera/lens combination the range cannot cope with.

To compliment the new range of heads, Benro have also announced a series of Camera/Lens plates ranging from the square format PU-38, capable of being mounted either way around, through to the PU-150 at 6” in length. All of these plate feature attachment screws with a mating surface some 30% larger than standard lens plates, thus ensuring even greater security for your precious equipment.

Each plate is fitted with special anti-slip rubber pads that enhance the grip between the plate and the mounted gear and each is supplied with a hex key and ¼-3/8” bush for universal mounting opportunities.
