Benro launches affordable Video Tripod Kits to UK market

Kenro, the official UK and Ireland distributor for the acclaimed Benro range of tripods and bags, has introduced a new line of tough and reliable Video Tripod Kits with matching S2, S4, and S6 video fluid heads to appeal to both professionals and keen enthusiasts.

Manufactured from high quality machined aluminium alloy with magnesium alloy castings there are three new models available, the A1573FS2, the A2573FS4 and the A3573FS6, all based on an eighth-generation design of single leg tubes and flip-lever leg lock mechanisms for rapid access and tear-down, making them an ideal choice for Nature and Wildlife photography or bird watching with video cameras or spotting scopes.

For added flexibility, Benro tripod legs can be independently locked into place at three different angles, making it easier for videographers to capture footage in cramped quarters, on irregular surface areas, or at ground level. Pop-out stops found on all three tripods allow legs to hit three different heights, with the largest model reaching heights of just over 1.7m, giving the videographer more freedom to achieve professional videos in difficult environments.

Thanks to its centre-column hook feature, additional weight can be hung from the tripod's centre of gravity for increased stability and extra peace of mind to the videographer. Benro has also included a handy levelling centre column which features a smooth action ball and socket device in a striking metallic blue for quick and easy levelling up and also allowing rotations of up to 15 degrees in any direction to be achieved.

Demonstrating their exceptional eye for detail, Benro has added closed-cell foam-grip to provide a comfortable yet firm grip when carrying the tripod.

Each tripod kit is supplied with a durable carrying case with straps for ease of transportation and added protection. Also supplied are a set of spiked feet and a basic tool kit.

Benro has included a number of safety features within their video heads that will provide videographers with the reassurance that their kit can tackle the most challenging of environments. Each video head includes a Pan Drag/Lock Lever facility that allows the videographer to adjust tension and lock the head on 360 degree pan movement, making for greater creative opportunities to be captured.

A 'Quick Release' sliding plate system with safety lock found on each head provides simple and safe camera mounting, dismounting and balancing. The S2 and S4 versions feature a handy built-in bubble level to allow adjustment and to prevent any uneven pans. The built-in bubble feature found on the S6 version goes that one step further by including an illumination tool, making for improved video use after the sun sets.

The interchangeable pan bar handle as featured on all three of the video heads allows for quick, fluid movements of the camera with minimal effort. The S4 and S6 models offer an advanced version of this feature by allowing it to be placed on both the left and right of head for enhanced user control. Owners of the A3573 tripod fitted with the S6 video head will also have the added luxury of adjustable counterbalance settings in 2, 4, 5 and 6kg steps.
