Competition co-ordinator, Vikki Rimmer said: ‘Kent Life magazine and EPIC want to encourage Kent residents, both young and old to get out and about and capture the theme set for 2006 ‘Kent Today’. It’s a great New Year project for those doing their GCSE art in schools, photography students at Kent colleges, adult education, camera club members and photography fans.’
Vikki Rimmer said: ‘ We have chosen the theme ‘Kent Today’ in order to encompass the wide diversity of our county - we have beautifully dramatic seascapes, impressive architectural features such as the Queen Elizabeth Bridge, rolling fields, the garden of England element and a vibrant social scene.’ Entry forms available on line www.photographyfestival.org or by sending an SAE to Entry form request, EPIC, 15 Old Mill Close, Eynsford, Kent DA4 0BN.
