Bibble Labs Press Release

Bibble Labs Releases Version 4.9.5 Adding 12 New Cameras and 6 Free Plug-ins - Now Supports Nikon D40, Pentax K10D, Olympus E-400, Leica M8 , Mamiya ZD and 97 others

Imaging USA, San Antonio, Tx (Jan 12, 2007) - Bibble Labs, Inc. announces the first RAW Workflow update of 2007, adding support for the latest RAW enabled camera formats, and including - for the first time - several of the most popular 3rd Party Plug-ins for Bibble. Like all Version 4 Upgrades, 4.9.5 is free for all existing Bibble 4 customers.

“Providing the most complete RAW Workflow application means more than just providing more built-in tools for image adjustment and optimizations than any other RAW Workflow application” Says Eric Hyman, Bibble Labs’ President and CEO. “It means opening our image pipeline to allow others to expand on what we’ve built within Bibble. This is really just an expansion of the ‘Partner With the Best’ approach that has produced our existing partnerships with Kodak, Picture Code and Athentech. These partnerships result in better image quality and workflow through the direct and seamless integration of technologies like Noise Ninja and Perfectly Clear.”

Bibble’s open plug-in interface is unique in the RAW Workflow industry, and allows third party developers - like Sean M Puckett of nexi.com - to expand Bibble’s already wide array of image adjustment tools. “Bibble’s comprehensive native functionality made it the easy choice among its competitors, and the plug-in interface allows me to extend that functionality and explore realms of image processing unapproachable with any other RAW tool.” says Puckett. “I simply don’t need Photoshop anymore.”

Among the free plugins included in this update are Andy, a Black & White Film Simulation tool that instantly creates stunning black and white conversions by simulating the look of many traditional film and paper combinations, Gina for Skin Tone Correction that can quickly and beautifully reveal more natural skin tones, and Roy for Color Adjustment to deepen the blue in skies or to make other color-based adjustments. Other plugins included can be be used for selective saturation enhancement, multi-zone exposure adjustment and novel image toning. With the inclusion of these free plug-ins, Bibble customers have the broadest selection of image adjustment tools at their disposal. “Pro” versions of these plugins - as well as several others - add additional control and power, and are available for purchase at http://nexi.com/bibplugs.
