Featuring a more compact shoulder pad for easier packing and convenient storage, the Metro (£45) is the compact version of the R-Strap, recommended for photographers who use compact system cameras and serious compacts. The Wrist Strap (£20. pictured) is designed as an add-on for BlackRapid’s R-Strap systems; it hooks naturally to any camera with an existing (separately sold) BlackRapid FastenR.

BlackRapid Launch New Metro Strap For Lightweight Camera Gear

JP Distribution is pleased to announce the following new products from BlackRapid.

Metro Camera Strap   SRP £45 Inc VAT

Metro is BlackRapid’s strap designed for lightweight camera gear. Without sacrificing any of BlackRapid’s famous Grab, Glide and Click, the Metro has a more compact shoulder pad for easier packing and convenient storage. BlackRapid’s “Built for Speed” functionality, like the FastenR and ConnectR hardware system, are identical to BlackRapid’s other R-Straps.

Metro is the compact version of the R-Strap, recommended for photographers who use the Micro 4/3 cameras, mirrorless systems, more serious compact cameras and various interchangeable lens systems. Additionally, because the shoulder pad is slim and compact, Metro folds up small to occupy very little storage space in a shoot bag or carry-on luggage.

The strap is supplied with a FasterR and ConnectR.

Wrist Strap combines BlackRapid’s patented ConnectR hook with a comfortable and secure wrist strap. Wrist Strap is designed as an add-on for BlackRapid’s R-Strap systems; it hooks naturally to any camera with an existing BlackRapid FastenR (sold seperately).

The strong wrist strap is smooth for comfort, and has an integrated corrosion-resistant anodized ConnectR hook. The caribineer style hook has a twist lock n the gate, for added security.
