This October, prestigious East London gallery theprintspace is celebrating the winning entries from the Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 competition. This year’s contest attracted thousands of images from around the world. The title “Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011” has been awarded to Binh Trinh for his set of three nudes. The winning images will be exhibited from 7th to 26th October at theprintspace gallery, 74 Kingsland Road, London. Admission is free.

Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 Award Winning Exhibition

LONDON, UK This October, prestigious East London gallery theprintspace is celebrating the winning entries from the Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 competition.

The Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 competition is organised by Black+White Photography, a magazine that strikes a balance between inspiration and information, traditional and digital for the monochrome photographer. On a yearly basis amateurs and professionals can participate in the competition to win the prestigious title.

This year’s competition attracted thousands of images from around the world and a set of three nudes by Binh Trinh has won him the prestigious title. There were also winners in the Single Image categories, where entrants had to submit images on the themes of Home, Land, City, Journey, Technology, Time, Work and People. Furthermore, the winner of the Young Black+White Photographer of the Year award, running for the second year will be exhibited in the show.

The Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 exhibition will showcase the highlights of the photographers’ imaginations without any artistic boundaries! The opening night will on Thursday, 6th October from 7pm-9.30pm at theprintspace gallery at 74 Kingsland Road with drinks provided and admission is free. The exhibition then continues from 7th to 26th October, Monday-Friday 9am-7pm.
