BosStrap Introduces a Light Line of Sliding Sling Straps and a Unique Hand Band

BosStrap LT Line

BosStrap has recently expanded it line of Sliding Sling Straps with the introduction of two new Light Weight versions and a unique Ultra light Hand Band. Light weight versions of Generation 3 (right) and the One Piece (below) styles were created as a result of customer feedback asking for a BosStrap to use with lighter, smaller cameras.

A sliding sling strap is more than just a strap worn diagonally across your body to take the camera weight off your neck. Sliding sling straps use a special fitting that moves along the diagonal strap, not requiring the strap itself to move. Your camera is attached to the sliding fitting. When you bring the camera up from your side, the sling strap does not pull on your shirt because the strap does not move, the slide does. When not shooting, the camera safely rests at your right side for hands free security.

All BosStraps attaches to the left camera strap lug not the tripod socket.

The tripod socket always remains available.

The new LT line is aimed at digital and video cameras weighing up to about 3 pounds. The BosStrap LT One Piece strap remains attached to your camera, just like the strap supplied with your camera. The Patent Pending Generation 3 style can be detached from your camera. Both new LT BosStraps use a 1” wide smooth nylon strap with a custom 1” nickel plated slider. The LT line differs from the standard BosStrap line only in a narrower width of the strap.

The G3 version of the LT strap uses the same G3 Tail that the standard (1½” wide BosStrap) uses. The G3 Tail incorporates the Patent Pending double lock safety connector which allows the BosStrap to be detached from the camera.

BosStrap Ultra Light Hand Band

The Ultra Light BosStrap Hand Band takes a completely different approach to hand straps. The BosStrap Hand Band is a derived from the Patent pending G3 Tail. The BosStrap Hand Band attaches to the right side strap lug on your camera and does not interfere with the operation BosStrap Sling Strap. In use, four fingers go through the band offering complete comfort and safe handling of your camera especially when it is not attached to a BosStrap. The Hand Band does not use the tripod socket as an attachment point, nor does it have a thick, heavy pad. The Ultra Light Hand Band is unobtrusive and secure.

BosStrap LT products and the Ultra Light Hand Band are now available from www.BosStrap.com. They will also be available in stores in July.

The BosStrap Generation 3 LT Sliding Sling System including one G3 Tail is $46.95

The BosStrap One Piece LT retails for $38.95

Extra G3 Tails/Ultra Light Hand Bands are available separately at $11.95.
