B+W Filters Announces New ND Square Filters and Accessories

B+W filters, one of the world’s leading filter manufacturers, has announced the launch of the new ND Square filters and XS Pro Screw in Filters.

There are 4 new Square Glass ND Filters (100mm x 100mm x 2mm) comprising of a 2, 3, 6 and 10 stop range.

Excellent Image Quality

Guaranteeing excellent image quality due to the finely ground, polished special glass that is used as the base, the new ND filters do not have any adverse effect on a correspondingly high-quality lens. The thin-film technology developed delivers results as the 3-layer combination coating optimises the filter, and the combination coating (MRC Nano) prevents troublesome reflections by including a multilayer anti-reflection component with seven layers on each side of the filter. The final outer layer repels dirt and water allowing for all round protection for the filter.

The filter technology of the new generation of type 802 – 810 square filters fit perfectly with the push in square filter systems available in the market. The new coating technology has made it possible to adjust the filter effect of existing base substrates which enables filters for 2mm push in systems to be implemented.

Stable and Resistant

The ND series from B+W are dimensionally stable thanks to the glass substrate and cannot warp or distort. Resistant to scratches, they will last significantly longer than plastic materials provided they are looked after properly. The new ND Square filters are supplied in a practical transport box.

B+W have also announced the launch of the XS Pro Screw in ND Filters mirroring the range of F Pro NDs, and extension to the range of 95mm Filters, entry level Exacta Filters and GoPro Filter Holder Sets.
