Canon has released a firmware update for the Canon EOS 1000D / Rebel XS digital SLR camera. Version 1.0.7 fixes bug that sometimes causes a “Cannot create folder” message to be displayed on the LCD screen, after which shooting is no longer possible with the SD card in the camera.
