Phase One has released an update to Capture One. Version 8.1 incorporates the following feature enhancements: incremental camera controls, up to sixteen adjustment layers, additional TIFF processing options, LiveVIew support for select models of Sony cameras, the ability to edit images in external applications, and much more. The upgrade also adds support for a range of Canon, Fuji, Leica, Panasonic and Sony cameras; and fixes bugs.

Phase One has released Capture One 8.1 which offers new camera and lens support, new features, stability improvements and bug fixes.

Capture One 8.1 is available now in four versions: Capture One Pro, Capture One DB (digital back version), Capture One Express (for Sony), and Capture One Express (for Sony).

Feature enhancements include:

Bug fixes:
Capture One 8.1 has fixed some stability issues and bugs, including:
-- Windows: Fixed an issue where browsing images would stop preview generation
-- Windows: Improved support for importing, adjusting and processing images with non-English characters in their path
-- Mac: Fixed an issue where Export to Originals did not include LCC or ICC profiles
-- Mac: Fixed an issue where incorrect dates would be applied to imported images
-- Mac: Fixed an issue where using the Spot tool together with a Heal Layer would result in a crash
