Capture One V3.7 release candidate has been released and is available for download. Capture One V3.7 RC1 can convert RAW files from the Nikon D2X and the Canon EOS 350D/Digital Rebel XT digital SLRs. Please note that there is no official support for the 3.7RC until the final release of V3.7 in May.

Phase One is pleased to announce the release of Capture One 3.7 Release Candidate. The purpose of 3.7RC is to allow existing users to test-drive Capture One 3.7 before it is officially released in May, 2005. Capture One 3.7 will be free of charge for existing users. Existing Capture One users who decide to run the 3.7RC can provide feedback through the feedback menu in the application or through the special 3.7RC section at our user forum. No tech support will be available for the 3.7RC. Tech support is available for official releases. The official release until May is Capture One 3.6/3.6.1.

Changes in Capture One PRO version 3.7rc1
• Tethered support for the following Canon cameras: 1Ds MKII / 1D MKII / 1Ds / 1D / 20D / 10D / 300D / D60 / D30.
• New slider for adjusting color noise suppression to get more color details out of your images. Under preferences on the page called “Process settings” you can switch Color Noise suppression back to use pre 3.7 standard color noise suppression.
• Noise and banding suppression are now handled on a per image basis.
• Meta data improvement on the P backs showing firmware version when shooting tethered and a new Meta data field showing the software version.
• ISO Meta data for the following cameras are now corrected for Canon 1Ds, 1Ds MKII, and 20D.
• Improved speed in Quick Proof and normal processing (see known issues below for more information about speed).
• Rename bug fixed.
• Preview sizes are now back to normal on the following cameras: Canon 1D, D30 and Nikon D1H.
• New and updated profiles for the following cameras: Phase One P 25, P20, H 25, H 20, H 101, H10, Canon 1D MK II, Olympus E-1, Pentax *istD.
• Canon 1D MKII duplicated pixels bug fixed.
• Bug fixed where color squares would be left around the preview window when using the focus tool.
• Batch queue halting bug fixed.
• Hot folder bug that could cause Capture One to freeze fixed.
• Custom White Balance bug for Canon 10D and 20D
