X-Rite have just launched a new photography competition entitled,  ‘Capture The Color.' Each month, X-Rite Photo will select a new PANTONE colour for inspiration and five winners, voted for by the public, will have their choice of an X-Rite i1Display Pro, ColorChecker Passport or ColorMunki Display as their prize. At the end of the year, all winning images will be judged by X-Rite’s Coloratti to determine one overall Grand Prize Winner who will receive a Wacom Cintiq 27HD Touch graphics tablet. Birmingham, UK, June 2nd, 2015 - X-Rite Photo Europe, the specialist distributor for X-Rite’s range of products aimed at the photographic and video market, has today launched a global social competition ‘Capture The Color’

Each month, X-Rite Photo will select a new PANTONE® Colour for inspiration and five winners, voted for by the public, will have their choice of an X-Rite i1Display Pro, ColorChecker Passport or ColorMunki Display as their prize. At the end of the year, all winning images will be judged by X-Rite’s Coloratti to determine one overall Grand Prize Winner who will receive a Wacom Cintiq® 27QHD Touch.

To Enter

Entrants can submit their photographs which best represent the specified monthly PANTONE® Colour. Submissions should be entered via X-Rite’s Facebook Competition page. Photographers may enter as many of their own original photographs as they wish.

X-Rite will also be publishing this competition through their Twitter, Google+ and Instagram social feeds.

Simply visit the X-Rite Photo Facebook Competition page and then vote for your favourite photos each day or encourage your friends and family to vote for your entries.

More Details

X-Rite will run one competition per month, starting on the 2nd June 2015 through to December 31st 2015. A unique PANTONE Colour will be featured each month as the topic for inspiration.

‘Pantone 17-5641 Emerald’

Pantone Emerald was Pantone’s Color of the Year in 2013. It is a rich, lively and lush green, which will allow contestants a broad range of photographic inspiration, whether that’s the outdoors, interiors, fashion and many things in between. The choice of this rich green as a theme for the first month of the competition gives entrants the opportunity to showcase a real breadth of work.
