Casio Announces QV-R41 Digital Camera

Casio QV-R41Casio have today announced a 4 megapixel version of the the QV-R51 digicam, logically called the QV-R41. It’s identical to the 5-megapixel QV-R51, with the same industry leading start-up time of just 1 second and a 0.01 second shutter release lag time, plus a large 2.0” LCD screen which enables easy viewing and editing of images.

The QV-R41 will be available in the UK from February - no word yet on how much it will cost, although LetsGoDigital are reporting that it will be 399 Euros.

The new LSI also enables quick response through a near instantaneous start-up of 0.1 seconds, and a shutter release time lag of 0.01 seconds. Just like its big brother, the QV-R41 also features an extra large 2.0? TFT LCD screen that enables easy viewing of images and makes searching through photos a breeze.

For extra convenience, the QV-R41 supports both the popular SD memory card and MMC formats in addition to having almost 10MB of Flash memory built in, and can also be used with commercially available AA-size batteries that allow you to take as many as 900 pictures on a single charge. The QV-R41 also features CASIO?s Direct-On function that turns on the camera in either record or play mode in the blink of an eye for simple one-touch recording and playback.
