Casio EX-H20G Firmware Update

Casio are releasing a new firmware update for the EX-H20G camera on February 24th. Originally logging GPS data for 7 days, the new firmware has extended this to 14 days, meaning that it will now be possible to keep a record of a longer duration of trip. The firmware also fixes minor issues found in some GPS functions.

Casio releases firmware update for EX-H20G
London, February 23, 2011 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has announced a firmware update for the EX-H20G, which will be available for download from the 24th February, 2011, at www.casio.co.uk/support.
The camera, employing Casio’s unique Hybrid GPS system, tracks a user’s position even while indoors, against map data stored in the camera’s internal memory. Originally logging GPS data for 7 days, the new firmware has extended this to 14 days, meaning that it will now be possible to keep a record of a longer duration of trip.
The firmware also countermeasures minor issues found in some GPS functions.
