Every month we publish an issue of our unique Chasing the Light online magazine, exclusively for our worldwide following of f11 members - sign up for a free trial (join here). With features from behind the lens and on the road with world-renowned landscape and travel photographer David Noton as well as a wealth of other contributors, it combines stunning photography of the most spectacular locations on earth with technical features, video tutorials and video blogs, humorous anecdotes, travel notes, a member's gallery and industry news. The personable stories behind the photos make it an entertaining, informative and inspirational monthly read, as well as an invaluable information resource for all who love landscapes, travel and photography.
First up, we’re introducing a new direction for our Behind the Lens series. From now on we’ll occasionally run a ‘Four Days In…’ special, in which David will visit a unique city location and spend four days sampling the photo delights there. To that end, in early December David visited Prague and in this month’s Behind the Lens article and Video Blog he shares with us his four-day adventure in this beautiful city.
In Seeing the Light, David continues writing about his latest passion for ‘shooting stars’, including a whistle-stop tour of the heavens. In this month’s Stepping Back we are transported to the breath-taking Milford Sound in New Zealand, as David recalls his trip there in 1999 and the benefits of returning to re-work a location. And there are David’s usual two post-production Video Tutorials.
