Pentax Optio 30CNET have just reviewed the 3.2 megapixel Pentax Optio 30, which is a simple digital camera aimed at photography beginners.

“Our test photos were nicely saturated, with generally accurate colors and good exposure. The flash powered down nicely for most macro shots, although we noticed a hot spot here and there. A little haloing occurred around high-contrast edges, but we noticed little purple fringing. Transitions between highlights and shadows could be a little smoother, but that will make little difference in 4x6-inch snapshot prints.”
