Color Confidence, Europe’s leading supplier to the digital imaging markets, has today announced dates for two Active Colour Training (ACT) events designed to teach image makers all there is to know about colour management.

The next event (ACT2) will take place in Manchester on 25 September, followed by ACT3 in Birmingham on 19 November 2014. The events are the perfect opportunity to meet some of the leading manufacturers in colour management, photography, image editing and printing.

Both ACT events will feature 8 exhibitors, a keynote speech from Richard Curtis, Principal Solutions Consultant at Adobe, and the opportunity to enter into a competition to win an all expenses paid photo week in Iceland. There will also be special offers and discounts on the day.

Exhibitors on the day include X-Rite, NEC, DxO, EIZO, Macphun Software, Epson, TECCO and Manfrotto.

“For over 30 years we have been committed to training, education and technical support in colour management,” says Simon Prais, Technical  Director at Color Confidence. “Last year’s ACT event was inspiring and we hope that the next two events will help people to further enhance their skills and develop an in-depth knowledge of the importance of considering colour in their workflow.”

Fine Art & Commercial Photographer and X-Rite Coloratti, Mark Wood, will be at ACT2 in Manchester to teach his approach to image making. Fashion and Beauty Photographer, Andy Kruczek, will be at ACT3 in Birmingham to offer advice and tips on how to develop your technique as a professional photographer.

As well as being a key supplier to the digital imaging markets, Color Confidence offer a range of professional training courses and consultancy services with packages to suit users of all levels, from individual photographers and imaging professionals, to large-scale publishing houses and multinational companies.

The ACT events are each priced at just £25 incl. VAT. This is refundable on purchase of a product on the day. The price also includes lunch and refreshments.
