Corel have released Version 2.2.1 of AfterShot and AfterShot Pro. This update adds raw image file support for 10 new cameras, including the Fujifilm X-T10, X-Q1, X-Q2 and X-A2, the Samsung NX30 and NX300, the Olympus OM-D E-M5 II (pictured) and XZ-10, plus the Nikon D5500 and D7200. In addition to the new cameras, AfterShot Pro 2.2.1 also includes a variety of usability improvements based on our users’ feedback.

AfterShot Pro 2.2.1 Now Available

Latest update adds FujiFilm X-T10, new plugins & more

Today, the Corel Photo Group is happy to release our mid-summer project for AfterShot Pro 2 and AfterShot 2. The 2.2.1 update adds RAW support for 10 new cameras, including some of the hottest cameras from the first half of 2015. We even have some new plugins now compatible with 2.2 and up (jump to the bottom to find out which ones!). And, as always with AfterShot Pro, this update is available for free to all owners of AfterShot Pro—no subscription required.

Statistically, the Nikon D7200 and D5500 have been among the most-requested cameras by the AfterShot user base. But in terms of trends we’re seeing lately, we’re also really excited to support four (4) new Fuji cameras, including the popular (and impressive) new FujiFilm X-T10.

We made our first steps to support the X-trans sensor in AfterShot earlier this year and while the performance was good, Fuji fans gave us plenty of feedback on where we could improve. We’ve refined X-trans implementation with the FujiFilm X-T10 and we think you’ll find that we’ve made significant enhancements. Looking ahead, we’re also now working on plans to support some of the more advanced features of the X-series (but we’ll save that news for another day.). Fuji-fans, we’re keen to hear your feedback!

In addition to the new cameras, AfterShot Pro 2.2.1 also includes a variety of usability improvements based on our users’ feedback. Thumbnail data and filename are displayed (no hover required)
Color label can be added with one click
Left panel can be undocked
Contrast for inactive icons and strings has been increased
Keyword list in the metadata tool is sorted by dictionary alphabetical order
Extra padding (spacing) added between thumbnails

New plugins available (now compatible with 2.2 and up):

Wavelet Denoise  (in 32-bit and 64-bit)
