David Noton will be giving two talks at the Royal Geographical Society in London on Sunday 2nd October. Held as part of the Travel Photographer of the Year Festival of Photography and World Travel, David’s talks will cover in the right place at the right time for travel photography, and the high and lows of a roving photographic life. Tickets are priced at £55 per day or £140 for all three days of the festival.

DAVID NOTON JOINS TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR FOR ‘WILD DAY’
Landscape and travel photographer David Noton will be giving two talks at the Royal Geographical Society in London on Sunday 2nd October as part of the Travel Photographer of the Year Festival of Photography and World Travel.
David’s talks will include:
Being There - Right Time, Right Place the art of being in the right place at the right time for travel photography. This will include not only David’s iconic landscape images, but with also include tips and advice on shooting great travel portraits too.
Chasing the Light - the high and lows of a roving photographic life. A taster from David’s ‘Chasing the Light Road Show’ which travels the UK, this virtual trip around the world tells the stories and adventures behind David’s most popular images, including as yet unpublished images from recent travels.
David will also be doing a book signing for his latest book Full Frame and there will be a range of merchandise on sale including the ‘Chasing the Light’ DVD and the new High Definition BluRay ‘Photography in the Raw’ (also available in DVD format).
The inaugural TPOTY Festival of Photography and World Travel features lectures, workshops and ‘how we did that’ seminars from leading experts from the worlds of photography, travel, exploration and filmmaking. It runs over three days – Sunday 25th September (Exploring Photography & Travel Day), Sunday 2nd October (Wild Day) and Sunday 16th October (People & Cultures Day).
