Dell has announced the world's first Ultra HD 5K computer monitor. The Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K Monitor is a 27-inch display which boasts 5120x2880 pixels for a resolution of 218ppi. " Dell PremierColor and the anti-smudge / anti-reflective edge-to-edge glass design provide true-to-life color accuracy and pristine picture quality for color-critical work," the company says. "It also delivers immersive acoustics with two 16W integrated Harman Kardon speakers." Other product highlights include an integrated memory card reader and 6 USB ports.The Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K Monitor has a recommended retail price of $2,499.99 and will be available in 2014 Q4.
