London+Acumen, a volunteer-led group supporting Acumen, has launched its first ever Dignity Photo Contest. Open to photographers in London with a social mission, the contest provides an exciting opportunity for the creative community in to showcase their photography skills. What does dignity mean to you?
London+Acumen, a volunteer-led group supporting Acumen, has launched its first ever Dignity Photo Contest. The competition is based on the theme of "Dignity, not dependence", in changing the way the world tackles poverty.
The contest is open to photographers in London with a social mission and provides an exciting opportunity for the creative community in to showcase their photography skills, as well as being a catalyst for positive social change by leveraging their photography portraying dignity, not dependence, in low-income communities London and around the world.
There are two categories: Dignity in London and Global Dignity. For more information about either category, please visit the relevant competition pages.

All photos must be submitted with a caption that explains the background story of the photograph in less than 100 words. The competition is open to photographers of all levels, amateurs to professionals.
The top 10 photos will go on to participate in the first ever Dignity Photo Parade to be launched in businesses across the City of London in October. Winning photos will also be featured at a high-profile reception event, the Dignity Exhibition & Auction, in November.
