4th December 2007: Breeze Systems announce the immediate availability of DSLR Remote Pro v1.6 for controlling Canon EOS cameras on Microsoft Windows. DSLR Remote Pro v1.6 adds a new photobooth shooting mode and support for the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III including remote live view display with auto-focus, auto-bracketing for HDR imaging, computer controlled bulb shooting for time exposures lasting several minutes or hours and support for shooting in JPEG, RAW, sRAW, RAW+JPEG and sRAW+JPEG modes.

The popular remote live view mode has been enhanced to allow the image to be inverted or reflected horizontally or vertically. This is much easier to use when the camera is mounted on a copy stand or is viewing images through a mirror. Focus can be adjusted using the remote live view and a new script simplifies taking a series of photographs at different focus settings to use a technique known as focus stacking to increase depth of field.

Remote live view display is available for the Canon EOS 40D, EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III cameras.

The new photobooth mode aimed at event photography takes a sequence of pictures and then automatically sends them to a printer for printing. The display screen can be personalized with corporate logos or eye-catching graphics. The final print layout is highly adaptable with user defined background, header and footer.

DSLR Remote Pro supports the tethered operation of the following Canon cameras: EOS-1Ds Mark III, EOS-1D Mark III, EOS-1Ds Mark II, EOS-1D Mark II, EOS 5D, EOS 40D, EOS 30D, EOS 20D, EOS 10D, EOS 400D/Digital Rebel XTi, EOS 350D/Digital Rebel XT, EOS-1D, EOS-1Ds and EOS 300D/Digital Rebel.
